Lake
Woodland Lake is an 8 acre lake located in the middle of Woodland's 120 acres. All camps have direct access to the lake and are within short walking distance. Paddleboats, kayaks, and canoes are all available for recreation on the lake. Three docks provide ample space for a number of groups to use simultaneously. Our water dock shelter contains all supplies needed for recreation on the lake. Feel free to bring your fishing pole and catch our fish!
Pools
Woodland Junction and Woodland West (North, South & Heritage combined) both have pools available for recreation. Generally, pools remain open from mid April to mid September. Please ask for specific availability during your stay. American Red Cross certified lifeguards are available for hire as well. You may, however, choose to swim at your own risk during your retreat rental.
Playgrounds
All camps also have playgrounds available for kids of all ages. Swing, slide and take your turn on the monkey bars.
Sports
Two ball fields can be used for soccer, softball, football, games, or anything else. Basketball courts, tetherball poles, and volleyball nets are adjacent to each pool as well. In addition, 9 holes of Frisbee golf are laid out throughout two areas of the camp (maps of the Frisbee golf course are available upon request.)
Trails
The Woodland trail system is perfect for a hike, nature education, or mountain bike rides. Our extensive trails go through hardwoods, creek wetlands, and southern pine. Stop for a break at the wilderness hut or take the long way around to get to the Junction.
