Scott is a 1981 graduate of Point University (formerly Atlanta Christian College). He has served the camp in different capacities for over twenty-five years - volunteer, program director, and camp board member. He joined the Woodland team full-time in the Fall of 2018, after serving over thirty years in local church ministry. Scott retired from full-time work at Woodland in 2024 and now helps part-time with facility projects. He and his wife, Lindy, have three daughters, Elise, Candler, and Kendall.
